The Inspire NOLA board will meet on Thursday, May 30th, 2013 at 5:30 PM at Edna Karr High School. The board agenda will include a vote on the Edna Karr and Alice Harte 2013-2014 school budgets.

AdvanceNOLA's College Access Summer Program

The Scott S. Cowen Institute for Public Education would like to announce our 6-week summer program opportunity for 2013. We are recruiting 15 current 11th grade students who will be entering the 12th grade in the 2013-2014 school year to participate in a six-week college preparation experience on Tulane’s campus Monday-Wednesday with a four-day college tour to Atlanta at the end of the six weeks. The goal of the program is to give students a head start on their senior year of college planning with several activities focused on college prep and participate in an intensive ACT course to ensure TOPS eligibility. Students must commit for the entire 6 weeks of the program. The cost of the program to participants is FREE!

When: Monday, June 10th-Wednesday, July 10th from 8:30-12:30(see schedule below)

College Tour to Atlanta, Georgia- Tuesday, July 16- Friday, July 19

Where: Tulane University, Newcomb Hall. Office- Broadway and Plum (JL Building)

Who: Incoming seniors (2013-2014 school year)

How: Follow the instructions below to apply.

All applications must be submitted by 5 pm, Monday, May 20th, 2013.
